About
Equipment Testing
Gear Sloot (gir slüt) – One who derives great pleasure from buying and using a variety of outdoor and gravity sports equipment, most often in a compulsive and reckless manner that defies the principals of thrift.
Gear Sloot was conceived as an outlet for my utterly hopeless gear addiction. I was born and raised in New England and I have been sliding down snow here in some shape or form for the last 25 years. I spend much of my hard earned money every year feeding my obsession, and along the way I’ve found that there is an absence of honest, unbiased reviews on outdoor gear. The mission is to provide real-world answers and advice on gravity sports equipment, so that you can capitalize on my experience and make the right buy the first time.
